Young model to do charity work at Khutsong pageant

Carletonville’s own Mini Miss SA finalist will be doing charity work during the Mr and Miss Khutsong competition
on Friday, 21 July, and is inviting children of all ages to participate. Busi Sambo, the 9-year-old learner from Laerskool Danie Theron, began her modelling journey in 2015.Busi took part in her first beauty pageant at school and, even though she did not win, her mother saw her potential and encouraged her to take up modelling. Busi thought it was a great idea and enrolled with the Body Fit Fashion modelling school last year. Now in Gr. 4, Busi
has taken part in the Miss Bundu and Miss Summer competitions, among others, and went on to win the title of
2nd princess in the Miss Carletonville pageant. She was the overall winner in the junior category of the Miss Christmas competition and the Grand Prix winner at the Festival Model and Talent, all in 2016. In 2017, she has won Miss Queen of the World and was the overall winner in the junior category of Miss Cupid, Miss Carletonville. She is currently a finalist in both the Mini Miss SA and The Face of Merafong. The Mr and Miss Khutsong pageant will take place between 12:00 and 15:00. Busi aims to bring change and improve the community of Khutsong, where there has
