Merafong netball league matches this weekend

Several local netball teams are playing in league matches in Khutsong on Saturday.
According to Jackey Machema, the secretary of the Merafong Netball Federation, lovers of the game formed this organisation at Westfields Primary School in September 2016, after a directive from West Rand Club Development to streamline
netball activities in the Merafong area.
A total of seven netball clubs affiliated, namely Dynamite (Carletonville), Cheetahs (Blybank), Black Panthers (a mixed team), New Generation (Wedela), Khutsong Raiders (Khutsong), Five Eleven (Kokosi), Eagles (Kokosi) and the Eagles’ male team, also from Kokosi.
The Blybank Cheetahs hosted the first round of league matches on 24 April while the New Generation Club in Wedela hosted the second round. The Black Panthers in
Khutsong will host the third round on Saturday. It will be held at the Khutsong South Primary School and will start at 09:00.

The other committee members are Thembeni Mere (treasurer), Matshukudu Mosia (umpire coordinator), Pinky Fako (coaches convenor) and Mabatho Seilane (additional member).
