ATM bombing at Oberholzer

An Absa auto-teller machine was bombed in Oberholzer, Carletonville at around 01:30 on Wednesday, 2 August.
While the ATM outside the Gibson Building on Van Zyl Smit Street was badly damaged, no money was stolen, according to the Carletonville SAPS communications officer, WO Peter Masooa. Eyewitnesses say five men were seen leaving the scene shortly after the explosion. No one has been arrested in connection with the incident and the police
are asking anyone with information to come forward or contact 086 001 0111.
