Young model ready for Las Vegas

Shannon Stoffels is ready for the big competition in Las Vegas.

A young model from Carletonville is ready to take the world by storm.
Shannon Stoffels, (12) only started modelling a year ago but had already raked in the trophies.
Not only did she scoop up the gold personality award and ticket at the Miss Merafong pageant, she was also the first princess in the Miss Mieliefees Pageant in Carletonville, Model Manifest’s model of the month for both March and April last year and the winner of the best dressed and most confident model title at the Miss Mad Rage Pageant.
She also scooped up the golden ticket, the best casual wear model, best casual ramp model, best upcoming model, best fashion ramp and gold interview, gold evening wear and most photogenic model prizes during the SA Top Model 2017 Pageant.
She was also sixth in the top 10 during this competition.
She was also the winner of the Miss Jongspan Pageant and scooped up several prizes during the annual Model Manifest Carletonville and Gauteng region awards.
The biggest achievement for this Gr. 7 learner of Laerskool Jongspan, however, is that she has qualified to compete at the world’s largest talent convention in Las Vegas in the United States between 28 June and 10 July this year.
‘As an aspiring young model who is also talented and motivated, it’s my dream to represent our beautiful country,
South Africa, at the highest level possible. This opportunity provides exactly that platform for me to live my dream,
achieve my objective and make all South Africans proud,’ the young star says.
According to Shannon’s father, Mr Wayne Stoffels, the family is seeking assistance as they do not have the money for her to attend this event.
